Filming/Post Production Log

4/13/08: The Doll premiere. It was very successful and a wonderful time.

2/29/08: The trailer is released late (of course >.<) on Friday, February 29th at 9:23 p.m. EST

2/13/08: Christov narrations are recorded.

12/6/07: The last day of filming.

11/18/07: The Day of Abuse! (Edward's first shoot.)

11/17/07: Major filming all day.

11/8/07: Night filming at the house where Victoria leads Ichabod to the attic.

10/25/07: The Yes scene is shot again in a different room and with greatly improved lighting. It went ok, except Fiona's head hurt just a bit, and William had a few problems with lines.

10/11/07: The maids revolt!

10/10/07: Ichabod goes Schizophrenic!

9/23/07: The Panic scene! Very long shoot, once again. But very fun for some, but for others *cough* Fiona... well... let's just say getting smacked in the face 6 times isn't quite her cup of tea.

9/22/07: The market scene! It was a joy to do. Except the directors forgot to bring the most valuable item for this shoot- THE BRATWURST! So they lived up to their name of Be Right Back Entertainment. XD

9/21/07: Elsie's death. Long filming. Lots of people. Someone broke Jeeves. Everyone hates eachother. Hard work. Who said filming was easy?

9/13/07- Filming with Crehador, Ichabod, and some very yummy McIntosh apples. Also filming with Ichabod at his writing desk, trying to come up with ideas for his new story. This scene, like many others, was unfortunately cut from the film shortly after it was shot. Sorry, Ichabod.

9/11/07: Christov's first shoot of him admiring his lovely haunted house and lonely life. All of this was cut from the film. Sorry, Christov.

9/6/07: More Doll Filming. It was incredibly successful, we got "all done that we wanted", and had time to spare. However, there were some injuries. For example, the one scene that was only "one cut"... literally. >.< Who said filming was safe?

8/29/07: Filmed at the little house with Victoria and her bird.

8/28/07: We filmed Elsie with some very nice chickens. Thanks to the owner for letting us use them!

8/22/07: The Yes scene is done. However this had to be re-shot because of the poor lighting. Too bad though, the actors did such a good job.

8/16/07: Octavia's scenes were finished during the day. It was a long shoot, but came out well. We went back that night to re-shoot the Scythe scene which we'd filmed on the 14th. We had to re-shoot it because Scythe was too scared to think. And we were caught in a thunderstorm, so we were all pretty terrified, but we made it through alive.

8/14/07: Horrifying Doll filming at night at the house with 12 frightened teenagers, 1 adult, some bad pizza, a sick actress, a dead fish, hot temperatures, and lots of screaming.

8/2/07: Filmed the rest of the Sandman scene, including Crehador's haircut. And the actors did get a little frightened in the house at night.

8/1/07: An exceedingly long and HOT shoot. Ichabod almost died in that huge bed of heat. We filmed the Sandman Schlaf scene in which Elsie sings Ichabod a German lullaby with a goat plushie. Unfortunately, it was yet another scene to be cut.

7/24/07: Filming at Fort. Williams for the Nightmare Scene, which was another scene that was later cut.

7/18/07: First official filming for The Doll at the Bed and Breakfast! We shot Ichabod and Elsie being introduced to their new home and the Seance scene. It took 6 hours to get the first scene done, which was very long and tiring. But we learned valuable lessons- You can't film 16 pages of a script in one day. And don't have cast members lingering around for 5 hours doing nothing!

5/30/07: First filming for The Doll. Elsie's birthday/picnic was filmed, though it was quickly cut because of the different camera that was used. It was never re-shot, and was replaced with the Tea Party scene, which turned out much better.
